Yoga therapy is specifically designed for you. It doesn't need to involve stretchy pants and heated rooms. In fact, you don't even need a yoga mat. Yoga therapy can be done anywhere from your living room to an office chair or even a hospital bed. This modality for health and wellness is truly accessible to everyone. I also integrate the science of Ayurvedic medicine into my practice and enjoy offering a whole body approach to healing.
I am a certified yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance and a certified-level I yoga therapist with IAYT, I am working towards my level II certification. I have 1000+ hours of training and 500+ hours of teaching. I am grateful for my teachers including, Mirka Kraftsow, C-IAYT, Lynn Weinberg, C-IAYT, Simone de Winter, Robin Gueth, C-IAYT, Harvey Deutch, P.T., and Judith Hanson Lasater, Ph.D., P.T. In addition to yoga, I have studied Non-Violent Communication with Newt Bailey and Judith Lasater in San Francisco.
I live in Petaluma with my family and enjoy being in nature and cooking up the local bounty.
